Key Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain hybrid infrastructure to ensure optimal availability and performance.
Monitor and manage failover and disaster recovery capabilities across primary, secondary and tertiary data centre environments.
Administer virtualised and physical server environments in line with organisational standards and best practices
Manage storage platforms (on-premises and cloud), ensuring data availability, integrity and compliance
Design and maintain secure, scalable and resilient cloud architectures aligned with global standards and ESG principles
Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimisation across cloud platforms
Provide Level 2/3 support, troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure incidents and service requests
Implement and maintain infrastructure security controls and compliance measures
Ensure adherence to data governance, privacy and regulatory requirements

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 3 years’ experience in cloud, storage and server administration.
Certifications and Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Bicek), CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins), and container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with automation and scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
Hands-on experience with physical data centre infrastructure, including power (UPS), cooling (HVAC) and environmental monitoring systems.
