🔒 ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Security Officer to lead our security operations. The successful candidate will develop and oversee security strategies to safeguard personnel, assets, and operations, particularly in the mining and extractive industry.

🛡️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and enforce security strategies, policies, and procedures.

• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.

• Manage and lead security teams, scheduling shifts and evaluating performance.

• Deliver security briefings and training sessions for staff.

• Oversee security incident response, threat detection, and investigation.

• Prepare company-wide security protocols and enforce compliance.

• Collaborate with law enforcement and private security providers.

• Demonstrate sound knowledge of mining operations and processes.

✅ QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Security Management (preferably in mining).

• Proven experience working with law enforcement and security firms.

• In-depth knowledge of surveillance systems, access control, and modern security technologies.

• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to perform under pressure and respond effectively to crises.
