Chief Environmental Planner

The Job:

The position will be responsible for:

• Developing, updating and interpreting the company’s policies on environmental management, waste management, environmental impact assessment and pollution management
• Developing an environmental management plan for all new projects and monitoring adherence to the plan
• Ensuring that the Company complies with statutory and regulatory environmental requirements
• Coordinate and carry out lEAs for ZETDC projects
• Planning and coordinating the design of environmental mitigating measures for transmission and sub transmission projects
• Coordinating Line Surveys and Wayleaves Planning
• Ensuring attainments and adherence to environment standards pertinent to ZETDC
• Supervising staff within the section through setting performance targets and appraisals

The Candidates Should Have:

• A Degree in Environmental Management or equivalent.
• Membership of a professional institution.
• 6 years relevant experience
