The Cashier will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, issuing invoices, and banking.

  • Handle cash, Ecocash, bank transfers, and card payments
  • Issue receipts, invoices, and credit notes in line with company policy
  • Attend to customers professionally and provide product/service information
  • Reconcile daily sales and prepare cash-up reports for submission to Accounts
  • Maintain a clean and organized cashier area and follow loss control procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 ‘O’ Levels including Maths and English
  • Diploma/Certificate in Accounts, Business Studies, or related
  • 1-2 years’ experience as a Cashier, preferably in a retail environment
  • Computer literate – Proficient in Pastel, QuickBooks, or any ERP/POS system
  • Honest, numerate, and detail-oriented with high levels of integrity
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
