Wisrod. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Officer with a proven track record in microfinance. This role offers the chance to be part of a leading microfinance institution in Zimbabwe and contribute to its continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing loan products
- Develop tailored loan products
- Manage portfolio quality and recoveries
- Onboarding clients and managing portfolio growth
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Conduct business assessment, credit analysis.
- Manage loan disbursements and ensure compliance with lending policies
- Conduct client visits and follow-ups to ensure satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in lending (microfinance, banking, or financial services)
- Proven sales and product marketing track record
- Strong credit analysis, risk assessment, and customer relationship skills
- Knowledge of microfinance operations and microfinance regulations
