Automation Electrical Engineer

The Electrical & Automation Engineer will lead the design and implementation of electrical, automation, MES, digital systems and will act as the site’s expert on all electrical, high-voltage power, controls, and automation.

Duties

❖ Provide optimum electrical and process control equipment facilities to meet the established objectives of the business.
❖ Ensure the reliability of electrical and process control hardware and software operation.
❖ Optimize electrical/process control maintenance and operation costs
❖ Optimize electrical/process control hardware and software to maintain plant at high level of efficiency, safety, quality, etc.
❖ Comply with all safety and environmental regulations (Internal & External) and applicable standards.
❖ Manage all technical aspects of the plant’s electrical power distribution from the utility company service entrance down through

switchboards,transformers,distribution panels, etc., to all individual loads.

Qualifications:

❖ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience.

❖ Experience with PLC programming, particularly with Rockwell Automation systems.
❖ Knowledge of process instrumentation, experience with P&IDs and process automation.
❖ Knowledge of medium voltage and electrical power distribution systems.
❖ Knowledge of combustible dust environments.
