IT AUDITOR – HARARE

Duties And Responsibilities

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conducts audit reviews of Information Systems, applications, operations and processes
• Provides guidance on Information Systems risk management
• Develops Information Systems Audit and Risk Assessment standard programs and operations flow chart to support audit plans
• Develops, builds and implements tools for data analysis
• Assists in developing and implementing Information System Audit Plan and procedures
• Evaluates Information Technology infrastructure and recommends controls
• Reviews and tests Information Technology Governance Controls and Procedures
• Evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determines exposure to risk, and develop remediation strategies
• Follows up on deficiencies identified in audit reviews to ensure appropriate remediation measures have been taken
• Provides independent advice through audit recommendations to the Audit Manager
• Compiles and develops reports stating all the findings for submission to the Audit Manager
• Assists and trains other audit staff in the use of computerised audit software and techniques

Qualifications And Experience

Qualifications, Competencies and Work Experience
• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent degree
• Certification such as CISA or CRISC is an added advantage
• At least 3 years’ experience working in an Information Systems Audit environment Evolution)
• Proficient with CAATs, Financial and IT application experience (SAP, Pastel
• Clean class 4 driver’s license
