Contact Family Counselling Centre a not-for-profit counselling organization based in Bulawayo, is looking for an Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of office support and secretarial duties of the Child Protection-Child Sexual Abuse and Counselling departments which will include composing correspondence, relaying and resolving telephone and or walk-up inquiries, receiving clients and monitor the visiting clients, scheduling calendar items and meetings, processing forms, performing data entry, establishing and maintaining records. Editing and proof-reading documents to ensure accuracy and some duties will involve basic mathematical calculations.
Responsibilities and job function
Operate a personal computer to compose, edit, revise, tabulate and print letters, tables, reports and other materials; Greet and directs visitors, resolves routine administrative problems and answers inquiries concerning activities and operations of the departments, accepts, screens and route telephone calls; Perform a range of staff and operational support activities; Liaise with other departments on basic administration and operational matters; Operate a variety of office equipment; Establishes, maintains, process and updates files, records and other documents; Orders, stocks and distribute office supplies; Administration of CONTACT social media platforms.
Qualifications
Diploma in Secretarial studies or Business Administration; A degree in Business Administration will be an added advantage; At least two (2) years’ experiences in a reputable organization; Proficient in Computer Skills, ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, reception skills, ability to create, compose and edit written material, records maintenance skills and ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
