Job Summary

The Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) is Inviting applications from suitably qualified, mature, honest and substantially experienced persons for appointment to the above challenging positions which have arisen In the Organization.
Accounting Officer
The applicant will be based at Manyame Catchment, Chinhoyi and reporting to the Revenue Accountant.

Duties And Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system.
ii. Maintaining an accurate record of financial transactions.
iii Updating and maintaining the general ledger.
iv. Managing and maintaining cash book.
v. Administration of daily receipt and banking.
vi. Compiling input for year end schedules for audit purposes.

Qualifications And Experience

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
i. Degree in Accounting or equivalent
ii. Membership of CIS/ACCA or CIMA
iii. A minimum of three years post qualifying experience
iv. Good interpersonal and leadership skills
v. Able to work without supervisor
