Job Summary
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill vacancies that have arisen at the Zimbabwe National Defence University (ZNDU) in Harare, Zimbabwe. Applicants should have traceable academic/practical experience in the relevant areas of expertise.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Receipt of supplier invoices from Procurement and other functions.
- Preparation of supplier payments, follow-up with signatories and ensure that payment is done through internet banking.
- Capturing and allocation of payments in QuickBooks to respective ledger accounts.
- Reconciliation of monthly creditors accounts including age analysis thereof.
- Compilation of tax returns to ZIMRA.
- Any other duty as may be assigned
Qualifications And Experience
- Minimum of HND in Accounting/Finance/Banking.
- Knowledge of accounting package such as Excel or Pastel and QuickBooks.
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience with traceable references.
