Tsapo Group of Companies is a fast-growing organisation in the motor industry and is seeking to the services of an Accountant whose duties and responsibilities, qualifications and experience are as stated below.
Duties And Responsibilities
1. Preparing budget forecasts within stipulated time frames and ensuring adherence to the budget.
2. Preparing and presenting to management business plans for new branches before these are launched.
3. Preparing financial statements by the 7th of every month.
4. Preparing and distributing management meeting packages within advised time limits.
5. Reviewing bank reconciliations before preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
6. Organising and attending monthly stock takes, reviewing, investigating and correcting stock variances after stock takes and updating the books of accounts for the variances.
7. Enforcing financial data confidentiality and conducting database backups.
8. Comply with financial polies and guidelines.
Qualifications And Experience
1. Degree in Accounting or related field from a reputable institution.
2. Professional qualifications like ACCA, CIMA an added advantage.
3. Must have at least 4 years’ experience as an Accountant.
4. Must have strong analytical skills.
