The incumbent will be responsible for financial strategy and policy implementation, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial and budgeting control and supply chain management.
Duties And Responsibilities
• Prepare financial reports and management accounts.
• Budget preparation and control.
• Ensure all payments are processed according to established accounting procedures.
• Monitors adherence to accounting and internal controls.
• Liaises with external and internal auditors on all auditing requirements.
• Development of sound accounting and internal control systems and procedures.
• Institute cost control measures by interrogating all purchase requisitions, purchase orders and stores requisitions.
• Maintain various accounting journals and enter data into appropriate accounting system.
• Supervision of Finance department employees.
