Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for suitably qualified and self-driven individual in a leading FMCG company for the position of Brand Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business performance through the effective implementation of the company’s marketing and brand management initiatives, working within a stipulated budget. The incumbent uses market research and analysis to direct marketing strategy and planning and oversees the production of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns, digital marketing and manages the company’s Public Relations and customer communications
Duties And Responsibilities
• Recommend and effectively implement strategies and tactics to attain set sales revenue and Gross Profit targets at the least possible costs.
• Collaborates with the General Manager in establishing Marketing budgets and monitoring sales performance.
• Responsible for product listings, price changes for all retail chains, and import order generations.
• Develops and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to target various markets
• Negotiates commercial conditions such as price, payment terms, and distribution.
• Develops communication initiatives, programs, and events that will increase business networks and positively influence the organization’s brand visibility.
• Preparing the merchandising guidelines to present the brand in the best way on the shelves, ensuring excellent merchandising execution, and implementing of planograms to achieve volume and market share growth.
• Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential in liaison with General Manager.
• Ensures media messages are aligned with the overall business strategy and guided by the organization’s strategy.
• Ensure the effective implementation of Customer Relationship Management strategies aimed at providing exceptional service to the customers.
• Identifies and initiates value-adding corporate linkage
Qualifications And Experience
The ideal person must possess the following:
• Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or Business Management
• Full IMM qualification & Professional Membership with the Marketers Association.
• 5 years’ experience as a Brand Manager or Key Accounts Manager
