The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing strategic ICT leadership, ensuring robust system functionality, and supporting end users across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance on IT infrastructure planning, optimisation, and development.
- Manage application software deployment, configuration, and upgrades.
- Oversee Microsoft Office 365 administration and provide reliable support to all users.
- Perform routine and preventive ICT systems and hardware maintenance.
- Conduct system log monitoring and analysis for performance and security insights.
- Provide staff training and offer technical supervision to enhance ICT competency.
- Demonstrate effective team leadership and manage performance within the department.
- Carry out security assessments, incident response, and vulnerability mitigation.
- Administer and maintain network infrastructure to ensure continuous availability.
- Enforce data and network security policies and best practices.
- Manage Tobacco Sales Floor System Administration.
- Provide prompt user support, troubleshooting, and technical assistance.
Requirements
- Operating Systems: Windows 11, Windows Server 2019, Ubuntu 24
- Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB
- Web Servers: IIS, Apache, Nginx
- ERP Systems: Odoo 17
- Programming Languages: Python, HTML, Java, JavaScript
- Networking: TCP/IP, Fortigate Firewall Configuration, CISCO Switch Configuration
- Hardware: Printer installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Conversant with ISO 9001:2015 QMS
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Additional certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, Linux) are an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar ICT role.
