We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Portfolio Manager to join our investment team. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage investment strategies aligned with client objectives and risk tolerance.
Monitor and rebalance portfolios to ensure adherence to investment policies and market conditions.
Conduct thorough analysis of asset classes, sectors, and securities to optimise portfolio performance.
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing regular updates on portfolio performance and market insights.
Address client inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and retention.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client relationships and grow assets under management.
Prepare and deliver clear, compelling presentations to clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
Communicate investment strategies, performance reports, and market outlooks in a professional and accessible manner.
Lead and mentor the research team, providing guidance on equity, fixed income, and macroeconomic analysis.
Ensure all investment activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Prepare regular reports on portfolio performance, risk metrics, and compliance for management and clients.

Requirements

A first Degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Banking, Economics, Accounting, or an equivalent field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in portfolio management, investment analysis, or a related role within the asset management industry.
Proven track record of managing investment portfolios and achieving performance targets.
Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment instruments, and regulatory frameworks in Zimbabwe.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Professional certifications such as CFA, CIS, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
