A technically strong metallurgist with expertise in gold flotation to join a mining operation, focusing on optimizing flotation circuits and improving gold recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and optimizing gold flotation circuits to maximize recovery and grade
- Monitoring plant metallurgical performance and implementing process improvements
- Conducting metallurgical test work and troubleshooting flotation challenges
- Developing and maintaining metallurgical accounting and reporting systems
- Collaborating with operations, maintenance, and laboratory teams
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
Requirements
- Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in gold processing, with proven expertise in gold flotation
- Strong understanding of flotation reagents, circuit design, and process optimization
- Hands-on plant experience with the ability to work in an operational environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
