HEAD OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Role Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and visionary Head of Information Technology (IT) to lead our technology function and drive digital transformation across the organization. This strategic leadership role requires a dynamic professional who can ensure robust IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and innovative solutions that align with our business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
I. Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
II. Oversee installation, maintenance, and upgrading of hardware, software, and network systems.
III. Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security across all platforms.
IV. Implement and monitor cybersecurity policies and protocols to safeguard data and systems.
V. Conduct regular risk assessments and develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
VI. Ensure compliance with ICT regulations, data protection laws, and internal governance standards.
VII. Maintain IT documentation and ensure audit readiness.
VIII. Lead and mentor IT staff, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
IX. Prepare and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and accountability.
X. Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and service level agreements.
XI. Oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and cost control.
XII. Drive digital transformation initiatives and process automation.
Qualifications & Experience
I. A Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
II. Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP are highly desirable.
III. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT leadership roles, with a proven track record in strategic planning and project management.
