Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) is inviting applications from suitably qualified, mature, honest and substantially experienced persons for appointment to the above challenging positions which have arisen in the Organization.

CYBER SECURITY OFFICER

The applicant will be based at Head Office in Harare.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing and overseeing the implementation of the Authority’s cyber security policy.
• Monitoring the usage of computing infrastructure to ensure compliance with the Authority’s ICT policy.
• Developing and implementing comprehensive plan to secure the Authority’s the Authority’s computing network infrastructure.
• Identifying vulnerabilities in the Authority’s network.
• Performing regular penetration tests to detect any possible flaws.
• Documenting any security breaches and assessing their damage. vii. Educating users about software security and best practices for information security.
• Collaborating with Management and users to improve security.
• Monitoring and keeping up to date with the cyber security developments, security standards, and threats.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

• Degree in Computer Science/Information systems or equivalent
• Professional information security certification e.g. CISSP, CH or equivalent
• A minimum of three years post qualifying experience
• Solid knowledge of various business information systems
• Good interpersonal and excellent analytical skills
