NetOne Cellular (Private) Limited seeks to recruit a highly motivated, outstanding and results oriented individual to fill the following position.

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT – MOBILE FINANCIAL SERVICES

RESPONSIBILITY

The incumbent shall be responsible to the Finance Manager.

KEY JOB PURPOSE

To assist in performing professional accounting and budgetary work, involved in establishing, analysing and maintaining the variety Mobile Financial Services (MFS) financial, statistical and budgetary reports for management decisions.

1. Prepares accurate, timely and detailed management accounts and keeps a Mobile Financial Services (MFS) audit file;
2. Prepares the MFS budget and assists in budget management, processing and forecasting;
3. Gathers and maintains all MFS finance accounting records and utilizes the information to identify risks and opportunities;
4. Establishes and maintains the best way for MFS data governance to ensure that MFS data and information is preserved;
5. Assists with tariff modelling and preparation of finance cases for all MFS business cases;
6. Participates as a member of a project team and contributes to change management strategies through communication and collaboration with others;
7. Prepares adhoc reports by combining data sets from multiple sources.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• A degree in Accounting or Finance or related qualification;
• Extensive knowledge in MS Excel;
• Extensive knowledge of the Mobile Financial Services Sector;
• Two to three vears’ relevant working experience.

COMPETENCIES

• Ability to work under pressure;
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work for long hours.
