A reputable exploration and drilling company is looking to recruit a suitably qualified accountant.

Interviews are to be held in Harare on a date to be announced to successful candidates.

Duties

• The Accountant will be in charge of all bookkeeping activities in all departments and auditing.
• The Accountant will be in charge of producing financial reports related to budgets, accounts payable, receivables and the development of strategic plans.
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions.
• Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner in  the  business
• Formulates budgets and forecasting activities.
• Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Predicting future financial trends and advising top management on decisions.
• Involved in strategic management activities and taking a  leadership role in your department.

Experience and Qualifications

At least 3 years experience with at least 3  traceable references. (Zimra background is an added advantage)

Higher national diploma, Degree/ ACCA /CIMA /CIS or any other reputable accounting qualification.
