MAIN DUTIES

• Design,install and configure servers,network devices and firewalls.
• Proactively manage and maintain servers,network and firewall systems
• Administer and support core Microsoft,Cisco,Database and Virtualization(i.e.Hyper-V)technologies
• Develop and implement risk assessments and disaster recovery plans
• Define and document best practices and support procedures
• Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance
• Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation
• Other duties as assigned

 

 

REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS

• Computer Science Degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years in an ICT position preferably in the Financial Services Sector
• Microsoft Certification(MCSE) or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server/desktop Operating Systems
• Managing server virtualization technologies like Microsoft Hyper V/VMware
• A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking
• MS Exchange 2010 installation and administration
• Strong documentation skills
• Positive ,self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
