Rainforest Trust seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant position reports directly to the CFO and helps manage a growing portfolio of project accounts.

We are an efficient organization, earning the top 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. Successful candidates for the position will work under the supervision of the Africa Conservation Director.
This position will be full-time and based in our office in Warrenton, Virginia.
Principal Duties:
- Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and
ledger maintenance - Prepare accurate, timely financial reports
- Analyze financial statements and balance sheet
- Compile and maintain various audit schedules and reports
Qualifications and Skills Preferred:
- Ideally a CPA and/or BA in Accounting
- 5+ years hands-on accounting experience, ideally in a non-profit
- Multi-level financial reporting experience
- Excel proficiency and job costing experience
- Audit experience
