Technical Sales Manager

The position of a Technical Sales Manager has arisen in a stock feeds manufacturing plant. This position reports to the Sales and Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities 

• Gather and analyse current market information.
• Develop and implement national strategies.
• Provide after sales support to customers.
• Serve existing customers to promote repeat business.
• Develop and manage relationships with all customers.
• Manage and interpret customer requirements — speaking with clients to under-stand, anticipate and meet their needs.
• Maintaining records of customer communications and contact information as required.
• Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential customers.
• Expand market awareness of company products.
• Maintain knowledge of competitor activities and recommend counter strategies. •
• Researching and analysing national needs and formulate strategies to respond to the needs.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and trainings for both staff and customers.
• Maintain awareness of pertinent client information, future plans and payment performance.

• Communicate any client information that may affect company decisions to appropriate departments as needed.
• Develop and manage the national budget.
• Submit monthly plans and activities for follow-up to the Sales and Marketing Manager

Qualifications and Experience

• HND/Degree in Animal Science or any related qualification.
• Vast knowledge of stock feed industry, broiler and layers rearing.
• At least 3 years’ experience.
