STORES ADMINISTRATOR
Location: Harare
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Stores Administrator is responsible for managing day-to-day data capturing, spares control and compiling stores reports for management.
Capturing of stores issues vouchers daily;
Capturing of tyre issues daily;
Capturing of fuel issues daily;
Capturing of GRVs daily;
Checking captured lubes issues against records from lubes office;
Compiling daily stores issues report;
Compiling Weekly outstanding purchases order reports;
Compiling monthly workshop expenses reports;
Preparing and carrying out stock takes;
Reconcile physical stock take balances against balance in FMS, and do necessary adjustments;
Scanning jobs cards to Beira and Zambia
Contribute for the continuous development of FMS stores modules to benefit and reduce wasted time;
Ensure FMS is used to its full functionality which allows for full control of the fleet at all times and full visibility and risk management;
Ensure that information related to the interests of J&J Transport and or the markets within which we operate are communicated to management;
Contribute with any innovative ideas or ways that may improve the operations and/or efficiency of the company and share/communicate it in a proper manner to management;
Perform other tasks as may be required by the Stores Manager and/or Finance Manager.
Educational Background and Experience
Academic Background: Relevant degree/diploma in Business Studies;
Experience required (minimum/maximum): with 3-5 years, with relevant management experience in a similar role within the transport industry;
IT knowledge: excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products (word; excel; power point);
Age (minimum / maximum): 25-35;
Others: English – good level of the English language, both written and spoken;
