Key Responsibilities
- Assists with daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation of revenue collections across tolling, vehicle licensing, E-wallet, transit, overload and abnormal load fees and penalties.
- Checks system reports, receipts and supporting documents to ensure the accuracy and completeness of revenue transactions.
- Identifies revenue variances, discrepancies, cancellations, exemptions, corrections and other exceptions and reports them to the Accounts Officer.
- Captures, compiles and analyses revenue and operational data to support revenue assurance reviews and reporting.
- Assists with verification of tolling, licensing, transit and weighbridge collections against relevant system and supporting records.
- Assists with the reconciliation of licence discs, number plates, receipt books, permits and other revenue-related documents.
- Participates in spot checks, traffic and vehicle counts, cash counts and other revenue assurance activities at revenue collection points.
- Assists in preparing revenue assurance reports, schedules, reconciliations and exception reports for review by the Accounts Officer.
- Maintains accurate and organised records, working papers and supporting documents for revenue assurance activities.
- Liaises with relevant departments and revenue collection points to obtain information and supporting documentation required for revenue assurance activities.
