Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records & financial transactions.
- Prepare bank reconciliations with monthly management accounts.
- Process invoices, receipts, requisitions and payments.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Payroll preparation and statutory submissions.
- Prepare VAT and other tax schedules for review.
- Monitor cash flow and maintain petty cash records.
- Budgeting and financial reporting.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, banks and relevant authorities.
- Audit preparations and ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Costing per department.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in an accounting role.
- Experience in the mining sector will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of Zimbabwean tax regulations and requirements.
