Key Responsibilities
- Receipt and accurately record all cash collections into the system.
- Ensure all cash received is banked intact and within stipulated timelines.
- Process and reconcile daily cash transactions.
- Attend to van sales cashing requirements and related documentation.
- Represent the company during cash collections by approved Cash-in-Transit service providers.
- Prepare and submit daily cash reports and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company cash handling procedures and controls.
- Assist with reconciliations and any finance-related administrative duties.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a cash office, cashiering, or cash handling environment.
- Good knowledge of cash handling procedures and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and customer service skills.
- High levels of accuracy, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
