Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above position which will be based in Matopo Regional Office. The incumbent will be reporting to the Tourist Officer.

Duties (Responsibilities)

Opening and closing sales through telephone, email and walk in clients,
Assisting in processing booking cancellations, alterations or amendments,
Participating at relevant travel shows and exhibitions,
Liaising actively with walk-in customers in relation to bookings,
Providing information to customers on non-consumptive products and
services,
Welcoming and ensuring that clients are attended to within reasonable time to minimise customer frustration,
Handling customer queries and refer problematic/ complex cases to supervisor,
Compiling of monthly statistics, occupancies and reports required and,
Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required

5 ‘O’ levels including English,
A Degree in Tourism/Marketing or a related field,
Strong verbal and good report writing skills,
Strong interpersonal skills, professional maturity, openness and collaborative skills
Computer literacy
At least two years relevant experience or more in front office duties
Good team player.
