Duties And Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Assists in assembling of components as per fabrication drawing.
Welds components for the production process as per production schedule.
Manages and controls the quality processes for ALL welding work assigned, ensuring that volume and quality targets are met on an ongoing basis.
Liaises with workshop foreman to ensure that inbound production materials are delivered within the stipulated times, quantities, and quality specifications.
Carries out quality control inspections for work welded.
Implements actions to correct welding rework due to quality errors timely.
Carries out work according to working instructions and standard operating procedures for ALL Operations activities.
Assists the workshop foreman by providing the necessary information to facilitate procurement of the desired raw materials
Qualifications And Experience
Person Specification:
Apprentice trained Welder (Class One), Coded Welder or industry trained Welder with minimum 3 years’ work experience
National Certificate in an Engineering field or Equivalent
