Job Description
Applications are invited from suitable qualified and experienced people to fill the under listed position at Kadoma City Council.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Performs routine maintenance on plant equipment and machinery
• Repairs and secures seams on fabricated metals products, leaks or weak joints
• Recognises , erects and operates hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal.
• Assess welded surfaces, structures and components
Qualifications and Experience
• Certificate in Metal Fabrication or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 1year experience as a welder
• Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment and manual tools.
