A local company is looking for a Welder (Based in Harare)
Duties And Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Maintain and service of equipment according to OEM standards.
– Attend to breakdowns and emergencies as required
– Perform work/ projects as assigned in accordance with guidelines and procedures
– Produce reports on jobs performed and material usage
– Maintain good housekeeping of the working area and observing proper waste disposal procedures.
– Oversee the performance of students on internships and assistants to ensure conformance to prescribed standard 4 operating procedures;
– Adheres to Occupational, Health and Safety requirements.
– Participates in budgeting, planning activities relating to the section;
– Identify and report operational hazards and perform mitigation as required;
Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications and experience required:
– National Certificate in Welding and Fabrication
– Class 1 journeyman.
– Minimum of 3years’ working experience (Post training).
– Possession of a driver’s license will be an added advantage
