QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
from a recognized university; - A minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Web Developer;
- A strong hands-on software development experience using Java, PHP, C#, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, Bootstrap and jQuery;
- Knowledge of the following frameworks, PHP Laravel Framework and.
NET framework; - Experience with content management systems (such as WordPress, Drupal or Joomla) and source code revision control system (such as Git)
- Experience with all phases of Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis, UI/UX design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation,Proven Web and Database Development experience;
- Strong database knowledge specifically SQL Server or MySQL;
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies;
- Experience in graphics design is a must;
- Experience and knowledge of Web services development, RESTful APIs;
- Mobile applications will be an added advantage;
- Industry certifications will be an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Designing and developing the Institute website;
- Managing the University’s website by keeping it current, fresh, informative,
accurate, and engaging; - Search Engine Optimization;
- Examining and analyzing site traffic;
- Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently
developing these modifications; - Maintaining and upgrading existing systems to ensure strong functionality and
optimization; - Integrating software components and third-party programs;
- Troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading existing software;
- Create technical documentation
