WATER AND SEWER ENGINEER
- Reporting to the Director of Engineering Services, the incumbent will be responsible for:
- Recommending water and waste water management processes and procedures to the Director
- Ensuring implementation of processes and procedures.
- Ensuring the equitable distribution of water by ensuring that water burst are attended to timeously
- Ensuring that the quality of water distributed is in accordance with the WHO standards
- Ensuring that the sewer treatment works are maintained according to plan
- Ensuring that blocked sewer drains are attended to timeously
- Ensuring that other water and sewer related projects are done inconformity to design and standard procedures
- Ensuring that the water and sewer designs are done as may be assigned
- Consolidating weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for submission to the Director
- Preparing section budget preparation for the approval of the Director
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bsc Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent
- No Criminal Record
EXPERIENCE
- 2 years’experience in local authority.
