VACANCY:
WATER AND SANITATION TECHNICIAN -GRADE 12 (1 POST)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the above vacancy that has risen in our Engineering Services Department. The incumbent will be reporting to the Director of Engineering Services.
Duties and responsibilities
❖ Operation and maintenance of water and sanitation section of Council,
❖ Design, drawing, data compilation and safe-keeping of all information relating to water and sewer infrastructure,
❖ Supervision of water and sewer construction works,
❖ Ensure that all reports relating to water and sewer are timeously attended to.
❖ Any other duties as assigned by the Director Engineering Services.
Qualifications and Experience.
❖ A Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
❖ At least 3years post qualification experience
❖ Local Government experience will be added advantage
❖ Clean Class 4 drivers licence.
