Job Title: Waste Water Superintendent
Grade: 13
Reporting To: Water and Wastewater Engineer

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure efficient and effective operation of sewage works processes.
Ensure efficient and smooth operation of sewage works pumps.
Supervise subordinates in the section.
Attend to routine maintenance works of the system.

Ordering and maintaining inventory of waste water treatment chemicals.
Preparation of detailed monthly and annual program of works and reports for the Waste Water
Section.
Preparation of Waste Water Section budget and work plans.
Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate must possess the following experience, qualifications and personal attributes:
 A minimum of 5 ‘O’ Level passes including English Language, Mathematics and Science.
 Holder of at least Higher National Diploma in Water and Waste Management.
 At least 3 years of experience in operation and maintenance of waste water pumping equipment,
switch gears and BNR Plant.
 Ability to lead a large team of workers and be willing to work with minimum supervision and
sometimes outside normal working hours.
 Possession of a clean class 4 drivers licence is a must.
