VETERINARY ATTACHEE – Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority

DESCRIPTION 

The Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority seeks Innovative, vibrant attaché
to join the Veterinary team on a year programs.

Responsibilities

Assist to treat or perform surgical procedures to all reported or identified sick or
injured wild animals/dogs/horses.
Assist on prevention of predictable diseases outbreaks using best veterinary methods and resources available
Assist in the wild animal’s capture exercises
Assist in diseases surveillance of wild animals /domestic animals in collaboration
with DVS.
Assist in relevant research work in wildlife health, captive breeding, production and
veterinary issues.
Assist in arranging and packing equipment and tools of trade during and after
exercises carried by the unit.
Shall do other services which may be assigned to him by the unit staff members

Qualifications & Attributes

The candidates should have:-

3 A’ levels passes
Studying towards a Degree in Veterinary and Wildlife Management,
Excellent communication skills,
Excellent problem-solving skills,
Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure,
Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
