VAN SALESMAN

A leading food company in the FMCG sector that is based in Bulawayo is looking for a qualified and experienced Van Salesman to join the Sales department in Masvingo and Zvishavane depots in order to contribute to the business growth profitability through achieving set Van Sales channel sales volume growth, price and customer service targets.

DUTIES

• Execution of sales and volume growth plans

• Managing returns from vendor and retail sales

• Developing and implementing actions to attract customers from competition and growing the customer

• Achieving daily revenue targets

• Fostering sustainable relationships and loyalty with vendor customers

• Achieving set vendor and retail sales market share target.

• Proactively communicating with customers on important issues including but not limited to price reviews, promotions, supply issues, e.t.c

• Any other work related duties assigned by the Are Sales Manager

REQUIREMENT

1. Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing

2. Minimum of 2 years experience in selling in an FMCG industry, preferably dealing with perishables

3. Excellent and demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

4. Good working knowledge of numbers for accurate decision making such as cash collection, handling, counting and balancing

5. Ability to build strong trade relationships and induce customer loyalty.
