VACANCY: DISPENSARY ASSISTANT
The University of Zimbabwe invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals to fill the position of Dispensary Assistant in the Health Services Directorate.
Key Responsibilities
-
Receive and process prescriptions accurately
-
Count, package, and label medicines in line with SOPs
-
Organize and shelve medications appropriately
-
Maintain stock records and participate in regular stock takes
-
Deliver exceptional customer care and pharmacy support services
-
Clean and maintain a safe and orderly pharmacy environment
-
Promote the rational use of medication
-
Collaborate with pharmacy staff and assume additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
-
HEXCO certification in Pharmacy/Dispensary Assistance or an equivalent qualification
-
Additional qualifications will be considered an added advantage
-
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a pharmacy setting
