Job Description
Assist in planning , coordinating and executing logistics operations for timely and cost-effective delivery
Duties and Responsibilities
-responsible for monitoring trucks and materials being transported including vehicle tracking
-responsible for review, verification, and reconciling of transportation documents and carrying out all clerical work
-provide support for developing and preparing transport data base and reports
-provide support in maintenance of filling systems for documents that guarantees swift retrieval for requested documents
-any other Duties as may be assigned
Qualifications and Experience
-Diploma or equivalent academic qualifications in transport logistics and management
-at least a year of experience in transport logistics and management
-able to communicate effectively and maintain good relations with customers
-must have computer skills and knowledge of software packages especially Microsoft office
-drivers license an added advantage
