Signature Petroleum seeks an organised and proactive Transport and Logistics Officer to coordinate transport, procurement and fuel stock control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate fuel deliveries, transport schedules and routes.
  • Supervise drivers and monitor vehicle movements and delivery performance.
  • Coordinate vehicle servicing, maintenance and inspections.
  • Coordinate procurement, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations and processing orders.
  • Monitor fuel stock levels and arrange timely replenishment.
  • Reconcile fuel receipts, transfers and dispatches, investigate stock variances and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Maintain trip records, delivery documentation and fleet reports.
  • Monitor transport costs, vehicle fuel consumption and fleet utilisation.
  • Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

  • Degree in Transport and Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • At least two years’ relevant experience in transport, logistics, procurement or stock control.
  • Knowledge of fleet management, procurement procedures and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational reporting.
  • Strong planning, communication and recordkeeping skills.
  • Professional qualifications from CILT or CIPS, or relevant APICS certifications such as CLTD, CPIM or CSCP, will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in the petroleum industry will be an added advantage.
