TRAINING OFFICER HEAD OFFICE

Job Summary

The Training Officer will be responsible for facilitating, coordinating, conducting and evaluating training programs that enhance skills and knowledge of employees.

Key Responsibilities

– Conducting regular assessments to identify training needs within various departments.
– Preparation of annual training plan
– Designing and developing training programs, materials, and schedules tailored to the needs of the organization.
– Ensuring that training content is up to date, relevant and adheres to the industry’s best practices.
– Facilitating training sessions, workshops, and seminars utilizing various instructional methods
– Implementing measures to assess the effectiveness of training programs and gather feedback from participants
– Collaborating with Heads of departments and service providers.
– Maintaining accurate training records
– Maintaining scholarship student’s database
– Evaluating the effectives of the scholarship program and recommend improvements.
– Ensuring that students on attachment and Graduate Trainees are following their training programs as per plan.

Knowledge and Skills

– Strong technical knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry.
– Strong knowledge of the IRBM system
– Ability to plan and organize to meet targets
– Proficient in business software applications, primarily the Microsoft Office
– Knowledge of the Business Management Systems (BMS)
– Capacity to work both independently and as part of the team

Qualifications

– A degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or related field
– IPMZ Professional Diploma in Training and Development or equivalent
– A minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience in the Human Resources environment.
– Clean Class 4 driver’s license
