VACANCY NOTICE

POSITION: 

The Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe is inviting suitably qualified candidates who meet the conditions below to attend a self-sponsored 8 to 10-month Air Traffic Control (ATC) Course at an Identified and approved training organisation outside Zimbabwe.

Applicants’ prerequisites:

1. Be between 19 and 24years of age.
2. Have two A-level passes in science subjects and must have at least 5 O-level passes including English and Mathematics.
3. Possession of a Natural Science Degree is an added advantage.
4. Passan Aptitude test and Psychometric test.
5. Passa Class3 medical examination.
6. Sponsor or fund the cost of their own training.

Employment by the Authority:

After completion of the course the successful candidates shall be considered for employment by the Authority subject to meeting the following conditions:

1. Pass the English Language Proficiency Test.
2. Attend in-house orientation training.
3. Pass a competence test at an ATC unit.
4. Demonstrate that he/she has acquired the necessary attitude needed to provide a safe ATC service.
5. Successful security vetting.
