Key Result Areas

Reporting to the Senior Traffic Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for:

• Producing accurate daily spot logs and applying material instructions within set deadlines.

• Serving Marketing Executives and advertising agencies to fulfill commercial requirements.

• Verifying that all advertising spots are correctly priced according to the rate card.

• Ensuring advertising materials are compatible with broadcast equipment.

• Maintaining compliance with Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe (BAZ) regulations and ADMA codes.

• Capturing sales data, ensuring data accuracy, and producing reports.

• Processing bookings, amendments, and schedule changes promptly.

• Compiling accurate weekly revenue reports for assigned stations.

• Generating and reconciling daily radio traffic reports.

• Downloading and supplying off-air clips as requested by advertisers.

• Preparing compliance reports and maintaining organized filing systems.

The Person

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Accounting, or a related field.

• Strong data analysis skills and advanced Excel proficiency (this may be tested).

• Familiarity with Radio Computing Service (RCS) software is an added advantage.

• 2 years of experience dealing with data.

• Ability to multitask and handle multiple campaigns and deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Professional presentation skills.
