TRAFFIC OFFICER – ZBC

VACANCY 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the above-mentioned position that has arisen in the Marketing and Sales Department at Pockets Hill.

Key Result Areas

Reporting to the Senior Traffic Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for the following among others:

• Produce accurate daily spot logs and apply material instructions within set deadlines.

• Service Marketing Executives and advertising agencies to fulfill commercial requirements.

• Verify that all advertising spots are correctly priced according to the rate card.

• Ensure advertising materials are compatible with broadcast equipment.

• Maintain compliance with Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe (BAZ) regulations and ADMA codes.

• Capture sales data, ensure data accuracy, and produce reports.

• Process bookings, amendments, and schedule changes promptly.

• Compile accurate weekly revenue reports for assigned stations.

• Generate and reconcile daily radio traffic reports.

• Download and supply off-air clips as requested by advertisers.

• Prepare compliance reports and maintain organized filing systems.

The Person

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Accounting, or a related field.

• Strong data analysis skills and advanced Excel proficiency – this may be tested.

• Familiarity with Radio Computing Service (RCS) software is an added advantage.

• 2 years of experience dealing with data.

• Able to multitask and handle multiple campaigns and deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Professional presentation skills.
