  • Operating backhoe to dig ditches, trenches, or holes for construction projects.
  • Operating a backhoe to remove rubble from demolition sites.
  • Inspecting the site to determine any safety hazards such as gas leaks or electrical problems.
  • Removing debris such as rocks, tree stumps, and other materials from construction sites.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all activities performed including hours worked and materials used.
  • Maintaining the equipment and performing safety checks.
  • Cleaning any equipment used.
  • Report on the condition of any equipment used.
  • Assisting with general workshop duties.
  • Carrying out any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Certificate of Competency from any reputable Equipment Company (TLB/Excavator/Frontend Loader).
  • Clean class 2 driver’s license is an added advantage.
