Tongogara Rural District Council is inviting applications for the position of Tractor Driver (Grade 3).

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Transporting goods and materials.
* Loading and offloading goods and materials as required.
* Ground maintenance using a lawn mower.
* Refuse collection.
* Performing basic tractor maintenance (e.g., checking and replenishing fluid levels, refueling).
* Reporting mechanical problems to appropriate personnel.
* Conducting inspections of the vehicle before and after each trip.
* May be assigned to drive any office vehicle when not on duty.
* Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:

* 2 years of working experience as a Tractor Driver.
* Valid Class 4 Driver’s License.
* Defensive driving certificate.
* Ability to operate earth-moving machines is an added advantage.
* Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
* Ability to drive for extended periods and in various weather conditions.
* Physically fit.
* Candidates must be at least 30 years of age and above.
