About the Role The International Business Connect Network for Economic Development (IBCNED) is seeking a dynamic, organized, and results-driven Tours and Exhibition Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary lead for coordinating our trade missions, business tours, and exhibition events that bridge the gap between local MSMEs and national/international markets. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing high-impact events that showcase our members’ products and services, fostering investment opportunities, and expanding trade networks.

Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Execution: Plan and manage logistics for trade exhibitions, business tours, and expos from conceptualization to execution.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for exhibitors, vendors, venue managers, and transport providers.
- Marketing & Promotion: Coordinate with our communications team to promote upcoming exhibitions to ensure high attendance and participant engagement.
- Operational Logistics: Manage exhibition floor plans, booth assignments, travel arrangements for tour delegates, and on-site event coordination.
- Budgeting & Reporting: Prepare detailed event budgets, manage vendor contracts, and provide post-event performance reports highlighting key metrics and ROI.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate ongoing relationships with sponsors, business partners, and industry stakeholders to enhance the profile of IBCNED events.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism, Events Management, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in event management, trade shows, or corporate travel planning.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines and strict budget requirements.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent the organization professionally at all levels.
- Administrative Proficiency: Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
