Responsible for thermal design of Hybrid Electric Vehicle eDrive system, specifically focusing on the design and analysis of liquid cooled systems for electric machine, power electronics, inverter, and converter
Coordinate with physical tests and simulations to establish and verify a parametric (or 1-D) thermal model that can accurately predict thermal characteristics of the eDrive system
Use Ansys Workbench, APDL and Creo extensively to simulate refrigerator thermal and structural models
Evaluate thermal designs via FMEA, CAE, Testing
Develop effective cooling systems for reliable operations of dDrive system over life, and identify/analyze new ideas to improve future designs
Interact with lab and vehicle-level thermal testing teams
Owner of vehicle thermal system
Design of Compute/Storage servers, racks from thermal perspective
Execute power and performance benchmark tests on new hardware
Develop static, dynamic, linear and nonlinear solid mechanic models
