Requirements

Applicants should possess a minimum of 5 ‘0’ level passes including English language and Mathematics and at least o Higher National Diploma in Chemistry/Chemical Technology/Applied Chemistry. Suitable candidates should have at least two (2) years relevant laboratory work experience and computer literacy. University or tertiary institution laboratory experience will be an added advantage. The ideal candidate would be expected to have competences in general biological techniques and technical skills in using and general maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and carrying out practical pre-runs • Demonstrating and assisting in undergraduate Chemistry (Organic/Inorganic or Analytical/Physical Chemistry) laboratory sessions. • Helping students in research and organizing field trips • Managing laboratory operations • Asset and inventory record keeping • Maintenance of laboratory equipment • Assist in procurement of consumables and other laboratory equipment
