Key Responsibilities

• Perform engine overhauls, hydraulic system diagnostics, transmission repairs, and in-depth electrical troubleshooting.
• Utilize laptop-based diagnostic software (EST) to identify and resolve issues in modern, technologically advanced agricultural tractors, implements, harvesters and construction equipment.
• Diagnose and repair advanced systems including auto-guidance systems on tractors, self-propelled sprayers, and combine harvesters.
• Execute power transmission diagnosis, calibrations, and overhauls.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance services (e.g., 50-hour services), including changing fluids, filters, and checking structural integrity as well as performing inspections to the machines during warranty period.
• Conduct field work, traveling to job sites to repair broken-down equipment in the field as required.

Requirements

• Education: Certificate programs or associate degrees in diesel mechanics or heavy equipment technology
• Apprenticeship: Complete 4-year Apprenticeship. Trade tested Diesel Plant Fitted Class One.
• Certification: Specialised training certification, e.g., Hydraulics, Electronics, Engines, etc. A clean driving license.
• Knowledge of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) systems is an advantage.
• Experince in agricultural sector is an added advantage
